I'm okay, but
What if I'm not okay?
Would you allow me space to feel?
Will you allow me to have my feelings?
I'm speaking, but
are you hearing me?
I mean, are you really listening?
In my hour of need,
where are you?
I know when we're out I smile,
but it's a facade.
I wear a mask,
but this is what you want?
I know you want me to be okay,
but who am I if I don't allow myself to feel?
When I don't want to keep up the facade,
who will I run to?
I'm overwhelmed.
I'm screaming and crying on the inside.
I'm silently breaking.
Sometimes life is just too much.
Do you hear me?
Are you there?
